ABOUT

Since having been elected to Kerry County Council in 1999, I have been honored to serve and work tirelessly for you as your Local Authority Member. I have campaigned for and secured significant improvements and investments for all parts of this Electoral Area in terms of upgrades to facilities and public services.

Our roads, schools, childcare facilities, better and improved health services, tourism and marine development are in a much stronger place. Being involved in suckling and sheep farming, I understand the issues which farmers are facing. As  resident of this coastal electoral area, I understand the challenges facing the fishing and marine industry.

I am committed to the needs of our young generation and to the future of this region. With better fibre optic broadband readily available to all, tourism and cultural  projects as well as Digital Creativity and Innovation Hubs can add to the opportunities of our young school leavers.

My commitment to regional development is clear from my record of delivery. The upgrade of the N86, The Dingle Inner Relief road, The upgrade of the Dingle harbour, Lár ionad Gaeltacht agus Gaeilinne i mBaile an Fheirtéaraigh, The investment and the improvement of the Dingle Way are some of the examples of what has been delivered in the last few years.
